If you read some of the followup postings you'll find out that:
1) This isn't really new - in fact just about the same press
release was discussed on dpreview back in 2005.
2) Sony already sell cameras with this level of sensitivity.
3) The resolution is quite low (VGA?), and the pesky laws of
physics pretty much say you're going to be stuck at low
resolutions to get even marginally acceptable signal-to-
noise ratios.
