I read a mystery book recently (a month or two ago) that dealt with the same
thing. Written by pretty popular mystery writer whose protagonist is a
forensic anthropologist who commutes between Canada (Toronto, I think) and South
Carolina. She is similar (but less gory) than Patricia Cornwell, and the Fox
TV Series, "Bones," was based on her character and books (I am not sure if it
still on the air).

So this story is everywhere and not dreamt up by James Cameron. I am not
talking about whether it is truth or not, just that the story has been around
for a while.
