The PUG is supposed to be as inclusive a gallery as possible. This means 
that themes should be doable with fairly basic equipment, and that the 
subject shouldn't be exclusive to certain parts of the world.
My understanding is that cormorants are a seaside dwelling creature, 
therefore out of reach of people who don't live near large bodies of 
water...
