"New" T/C's?

Talking of T/Cs I've been debating whether to wait for the 60 - 250 or
get the sigma 70-200 f/2.8 + 1.4x TC combo or possibly the 100-300 f/4
+ 1.4x TC
I know that the 70-200 f/2.8 enjoys a good reputation but i know
nothing about their t/c... Any opinions on the combination ?
What about the 100-300 f/4 + 1.4 t/c ?
