Funny you should mention that: I was just at a local camera shop 
yesterday and noticed that they had a couple of these lenses, new and 
boxed, on the shelf. I was thinking that when/if they sell, these 
lenses would be under warranty and Pentax would be obliged to repair 
them if they experience the separation problem.
