Let me reveal a little known secret.
Trader Joe has a house brand of McCallan, a 10 year old, that is QUITE
palatable. My wife brought it home, and I was really surprised.
the price is something like $26-28, but the taste is pure McCallan!
They also have a 15 year old Glenlivet! Excellent!
We're talking about $15-20 below the usual shelf prices here!
As long as they offer them, Trader Joe will now be my source for single
malt scotches! At that price, why change?
However, the next time I'm there, I'll be looking for a 16 year old
Glenlivet Nadurra, my favorite sippin' Scotch! ;-)
