300mm 2.8 AF: Sigma vs Pentax

I really love the 300mm (actually 450mm) focus distance on a dslr.

But which one is better value for money? The 300mm F2.8 Autofocus by
Sigma or by Pentax?

No, 300 mm is 300 mm. The angle of view is different.

Which lens do you think is likely to be better?

Only you can judge value relative to cost. It depends on your budget and 
what image quality means to you.

You might want to wait for the forthcoming DA* 300 F4.
