A Tamron Adaptall mount will bugger up the threads of an M42 lens if
you try and thread it on. You'll want the Pentax K-mount to M42
adapter ring. My Tak 400/5.6 works very well on my DS2, well enough
for moon shots at least. I need to find something else that it's
suited for.
