Reattaching Rubber lens grips?

Small technical question.  The Rubber grip on my M 85mm's focus ring has 
stretched out and has become so lose that it's actually threating to 
slip off of the lens.  Has anyone else had this problem and if so is 
there a solution other than simply gluing it back in place?
