I shot weddings for some 15 years with one camera body and a 50mm/1.4 lens. 
Now that 35mm film has improved somewhat over what I was using in the mid 
70s, I would think that one camera, one lens and no flash should be very 
doable.
You might want to consider picking up a reflector of some sort for the 
outdoor portraits.
