The K100D super is set up to use the  USM in the new upcoming lenses. The 
K100D isn't. :-( Since I just bought it, not  about to sell it right now to turn 
around and buy the new one.

So far I  am pretty happy with the K100D otherwise. Although the other day it 
stopped  working. Not sure why. Fiddled around with it and it worked again 
within 10  minutes. I thought maybe a bum battery door, but that did not seem to 
be it. All  indicators were it was on, but it seemed to freeze. It may have 
been the  autofocus freezing, but not sure yet. I will only be able to verify 
it if it  happens again.

Otherwise, I am fine, keith. Been busy, and needed a break  after my little 
photo show. http://members.aol.com/eactivist/PHOTOSHOW2/   So took month plus 
off from taking pictures. Then I've been busy with other  things in the last 3 
weeks or so, so I've been away from PDML for a few weeks  with a brief stop in 
about a week and a half ago. I am taking a Landscape  Photography class and 
did go on a little field trip last Saturday, ergo, recent  pictures shown and 
revival of interest in photography. I was sort of worn out  for a while, but 
now I will probably get out again now and take some new  stuff.

So everything is pretty okay and thanks for asking. If you  need more 
check-in pls write me off list. Glad to see you back on  list.
