That's what I use as a default and it produces good results. There  
are occasions, however, when I've used Bicubic Sharper and just  
Bicubic or other options. It depends on the scene type and content.

Which works best, and how to apply upsampling this way, is a little  
study in its own right. There are several different methodologies  
promoted by various folks that each have their strengths and  
weaknesses with various types of work. The most common advice is to  
upsample in stages, examining at the 1:1 and 2:1 view level what's  
happening to details as you go.
