I do hope the rumor is true. It would be a sensible choice for Pentax  
to make, and prevents having to rev up the aftermarket for another  
battery form factor.

I am on travel and have a good bit of time on my hands between  
shooting sessions, got my computer with me...

Was out shooting this morning at dawn, chasing fog ... bugger all  
stuff remains elusive, always floating to the next inaccessible  
hillside when I get to where it was. I need to borrow a tripod,  
though ... despite buying a smaller tripod and packing, repacking a  
dozen times, I could NOT fit it into my carryon or checked luggage,  
which would have meant checking it. Even cutting my kit back to just  
three lenses (DA21, FA35, FA77), I didn't have the space. Grr.

I might just buy another tripod here (they have the Manfrotto 190CLD  
with a pan head at Jessops for £105, or a Chinese copy for about half  
that) and leave it here with my friend for him to use and for me to  
have available when next I'm over. Pain in the arse.
