Shel, Microdrive are typically of lower cost for the same capacity as
a "normal" flash based CF card.
They are in fact hard disk drives and as such are more prone to
problems (in theory at least).
Also, my Hitachi 4GB one (Seagate ones are supposed to be much faster)
are a bit slow... when checking pics on the LCD for example, you have
to wait about a second from pic to pic. A bit annoying I confess but I
can live with that.
Write speed is also a bit lower, I don't really caren the D is slow anyway.
