November PUG - River's End

[Harald Rust]

Tom C., John, and Cotty, and all,
Thanks much for the kind comments. I took the shot
next to the Kalaloch Lodge (as you correctly
surmised). I was passing the coast on my way to the
Hoh Rainforest, and it just happened to near sunset. 
It was the first time I used the Singh-Ray reverse nd
grad filter, which worked well in this situation. I
have a few more from this scene, but in this one the
sun peeked out for a few moments, which made for
interesting light.
I agree, this month's pug is an engaging gallery, and
thanks to all the participants and Adelheid for
putting it altogether.

Quite lovely.  Taken near the Kalaloch Lodge, or
futher north (south)?  Sun, 
silohouettes, relflections, winding channel,
driftwood, waves, clouds, all 
combine nicely.  Any others from this shoot?
