What utter twaddle.  It gives a number representing the reduction in facial injuries when wearing a bicycle helmet.  Possibly that is due to the peak catching on the road and tipping your head forwards, therefore preventing your face rubbing on the surface.  Which might explain the increase in neck injuries......
